A CLASSICAL ROUTE THROUGH INDIA, NEPAL AND SRI LANKA

Classic Himalayan tea

‘The TfT Classic’ offers first timers, be it you or your family, a grand introduction of Nepal, India or Sri Lanka while staying in the finest establishments and hotels in the country. The Nepal trip, for instance, is built around the three properties Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge, Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge and Hotel Dwarikas Dhulikel. These three are all located in very different topographies across the country, giving you a mountain, jungle and authentic Nepal experience.

The ‘TfT Classic Nepal’ is a great example of how one would sample the best of the country and, aside from a marked contrast in Nepal’s surroundings,  each area you will visit has a fantastic variety and number of species of birds which are something of particular interest to us. For example, the foothills of the Himalayas (Dwarikas and Pokhara) and the Terai of the South (Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge) have summer and winter visitors that flock from a far to reside for a period during the year.

The classic Nepal itinerary offers perfect birding at both Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge and Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge, and we welcome dedicated bird watchers and amateur enthusiasts alike. The lodges’ expert local guides will lead specialist birding walks looking for a particular species or family during your time at the properties. Birding is a fantastic way to see a country in detail. We believe there is no better way to finish the birding experience with a spa followed by a traditional massage and then a delicious Nepali dinner at Dwarikas Dhulikel.

A ‘TfT Classic Sri Lanka’ trip enables you to tour the hot spots of the country with your friends, family with something for every member of the group. The island is blessed to have a diverse breadth of activities in an extremely close proximity. Its hard to choose the pick of the crop from the wildlife, beaches, culture and food on offer but we at TfT Travel will make sure the match is perfect so you get the most from your visit to the magical island.
